Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
This privacy policy explains which personal data we process when you visit aiswiss.dev or contact us, for what purpose, and what rights you have. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies. For visitors from the EU we also observe the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies.
1. Controller
AI Swiss Development GmbH, Säntisstrasse 3, 8572 Berg TG, Switzerland. For any privacy question, contact us at info@aiswiss.dev or +41 76 535 96 66.
2. Principles
We only process the data we need for each purpose, and we never sell personal data. We process data to answer enquiries and carry out projects, to run the website securely, when you have given consent, or when the law requires it. Under the GDPR we rely accordingly on Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), (b) (contract and enquiry), (c) (legal obligation) and (f) (legitimate interest).
3. Visiting the website and hosting
The website runs on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA, with data centres worldwide, including Switzerland and Europe). When you open a page, your browser sends technical data that is briefly stored in server logs:
- IP address and approximate location (country)
- date and time of access
- page visited and referring page
- browser, operating system and device type
We need this data to deliver the website, fend off attacks and find errors. We do not use it for advertising and do not combine it with other data.
4. Contact form, email and phone
If you contact us through the contact form, by email or by phone, we process your details (for example name, company, email, phone number and your message) to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a quote. The contact form is forwarded to us by Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA). Required fields are marked; without them we cannot reply.
5. Cookies and local storage
This website does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, nor any service that analyses your behaviour. The only item stored is a technically necessary entry in your browser's local storage that remembers that you have seen the cookie notice. It contains no personal data, is kept for 6 months and is never sent to us. You can delete it in your browser at any time.
If we ever use an analytics tool, we will only do so with your consent and will update this policy beforehand. You can reopen the notice via the "Cookies" link at the bottom of every page, or here:
6. Fonts and external content
Fonts and images are served from our own server. Loading the website does not connect to Google Fonts or similar services. We do not embed videos, maps or social media plugins. Links to other websites, for example client projects, open third-party sites for which their operators are responsible.
7. Disclosure and transfers abroad
We only share personal data with service providers we need to run the website and our business, and only as far as necessary:
- Cloudflare, Inc., USA (hosting and protection of the website)
- Formspree, Inc., USA (forwarding the contact form)
- authorities, where we are legally obliged
Some of these providers are based in the USA. We only transfer data there to companies certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the Federal Council recognises as adequate, or on the basis of standard contractual clauses recognised by the European Commission and the FDPIC.
8. Retention
Server logs are deleted by the hosting provider after a short time, usually within 30 days at most. We keep enquiries as long as needed to handle them and for any resulting project. Business correspondence and accounting records are kept for the statutory 10 years (Art. 958f Swiss Code of Obligations).
9. Data security
The website is only delivered encrypted via HTTPS. At our company, only the people handling your enquiry have access to it.
10. Your rights
Within the scope of data protection law you have the right to:
- access your personal data (Art. 25 FADP)
- have incorrect data corrected
- have data deleted or processing restricted
- object to processing and withdraw consent with effect for the future
- receive or transfer your data (Art. 28 FADP)
Write to info@aiswiss.dev. We usually reply within 30 days and may ask for proof of identity. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, edoeb.admin.ch). People in the EU can contact the supervisory authority of their country.
11. No automated decisions
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect you, and we do not create profiles.
12. Changes
We update this privacy policy when the website or the services we use change. The current version on this page applies.
